Andromeda Tonks

Character Analysis

Mrs. Tonks is the sister of Narcissa Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange (whom she physically resembles greatly), but she's nothing like her sisters – instead, she's firmly on the side of good, is sympathetic to the Order of the Phoenix, and is even married to Muggle-born Ted Tonks. Their daughter is Nymphadora Tonks, the clumsy Auror we've known since Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Mrs. Tonks suffers even more than most people in the war against Voldemort, losing both her beloved husband and her daughter, though she does gain a grandson, Teddy Lupin.
