Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

by J.K. Rowling

Ted Tonks

Character Analysis

Muggle-born Mr. Tonks seems like a really good guy – he and his wife, Andromeda, take care of Harry briefly after his narrow escape from Voldemort during the move from Privet Drive. He's a good-natured man, who we later encounter again at a distance when he's on the run in the forest, accompanied by Dean Potter, Dirk Cresswell, and the two goblins. Sadly he, like his daughter Nymphadora Tonks, is one of the casualties of Voldemort's regime, and gets killed by Death Eaters.
