Nicolas Flamel and Perenelle

Character Analysis

Nicolas Flamel and his wife Perenelle are the keepers of the Sorcerer's Stone and the only makers of the Elixir of Life. They are really, really old – like, in their six hundreds. Flamel is a former colleague of Dumbledore's. (Flamel and his wife are also historic figures, and Flamel is recognized in the study of alchemy.)
