Case File: Treason

Police Reports

Case Description: King Khufu indicted Heqat as one of several defendants, along with the other midwife deities Isis, Nephthys, Meshkhenet, and Khnum, with treason, for helping Rudjedet give birth to three kings who would grow up to rule better than he had.

Case Status: Dismissed. The magician Djedi, who originally prophesied the little kings' births, pointed out that they wouldn't be born until several hundred years after Khufu would be dead anyway.
