Brain Snacks: Tasty Tidbits of Knowledge

One of Sexton's last projects was actually a collaboration with composer Conrad Susa. Transformations, an opera based upon Sexton's collection of poems with the same name, follows a weird assortment of characters from Grimm's Fairy Tales through a slightly-less-than fairy-tale-ish world of madness and, well, other problems. It's creepily fabulous! Check out a short clip of the opera here.

Like any good young girl in the '60s, Anne Sexton kept a scrapbook. Of course, hers was just a little bit more ironic than most…Check out a page of her work on this site – but be warned: it's addictive! (Source)
