Case File: Accusations of Bigamy

Police Reports

Case Description: An anonymous complaint (all signs point to Hera) has been filed against Heracles accusing him of bigamy. The complaint alleges that Heracles has married three mortal women and one goddess without dissolving any of his previous marriages.

Case Status: Closed. Heracles has been reprimanded for giving away his first wife, Megara, and abandoning his second wife, Omphala, under suspicious circumstances. He has been excused for leaving his third wife, Deinara, since she poisoned him and then committed suicide. His fourth marriage to the goddess Hebe still holds since his previous three marriages technically dissolved when he died and was subsequently made immortal.
