Brain Snacks: Tasty Tidbits of Knowledge

There are all sorts of organizations out there whose mission statements read something like a summary of this poem. Everybody's body is great. Are you short? Tall? A size 4? A size 14? Lucky you. You're perfect just the way you are. Here's one of the organizations:www.about-face.org.

Clifton passed away in 2010. Here's how she would like to be remembered: "I would like to be seen as a woman whose roots go back to Africa, who tried to honor being human. My inclination is to try to help" (source).
