Horton Hears a Who! Lines 111-124 Summary
A Miraculous Breakthrough
After hours and hours (and hours), Horton finally finds the Whos—on his three millionth clover. Yowza. That is one determined elephant.
Horton is overjoyed, and asks the Whos how they're doing. The answer, unfortunately, is not so encouraging.
The Whos are having some issues from when the bird dropped them: all their clocks have stopped and their things are broken.
Horton promises that he'll stick with them while they're making their repairs.
