If I Ran the Zoo

by Dr. Seuss

If I Ran the Zoo Stanzas 35 – 36 Summary

  • The people will all cheer for McGrew, who built the greatest, bestest, most awesomest zoo in the world. The zoo is a rush of activity as creatures and visitors interact and play. Everyone seems to be having a grand-old time.
  • Returning to the first picture of the book, we're back to reality and out of McGrew's imagination. The boy repeats that he would make some changes if he ran the zoo.
  • Oh, really?
