Billy Collins was called "the most popular poet in America" in a New York Times article by Bruce Weber. Being the rock star of the poetry world does afford certain perks—like a six-figure book deal (unheard of for poetry) and a reading at the White House.

Billy Collins: Poet, teacher, and yes, you guessed it—radio actor! Billy is a frequent guest on NPR's Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. The man does it all. Check him out getting ready for a performance with a brainstorming session and a skit rehearsal.
