Analysis: Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

Johnny is the king of the longing look and also the king of not doing anything at all about it. He does a lot of mooning over Lavinia Lyte, and later a lot of realizing that Cilla is pretty and being totally unable to really express his feelings. But he gets a PG because there is finally that one kiss, although even that one kiss doesn't seem to be much to write home about. What really keeps it at a PG rating is the increasingly creepy sexualization of Isannah as the novel goes on.
