The Lake Isle of Innisfree

The Lake Isle of Innisfree

by William Butler Yeats

Analysis: Tough-o-Meter

(3) Base Camp

There isn't too much going behind the scenes here. Though Yeats is writing in a slightly old-timey style, the picture he paints is pretty clear. You can leave the ice picks and rappelling gear at home; things don't get too extreme.
