The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Ichabod Crane Timeline and Summary

  • Ichabod Crane is a teacher and choir director in the town of Sleepy Hollow. Oh, and he's super ugly.
  • When he sees the hotness that is Katrina Van Tassel and her dad's blinged out farmhouse, Ichabod starts hitting on Katrina.
  • Unfortunately, Brom Van Brunt had dibs on Katrina, and now he wants to beat up Ichabod. Our Ichabod, though, is too much of a wimp to fight.
  • Instead, Brom plays pranks on Ichabod. Ichabod, being a total scaredy cat, thinks these are witches' spells.
  • There's a party at the Van Tassel house and Ichabod is invited, but at the end of the party Ichabod gets dumped by Katrina. Total bummer.
  • As Ichabod does the walk of shame, he gets spooked by everything along the way.
  • Suddenly, the Headless Horseman appears and scares Ichabod out of his wits. He tries to run away but just gets smacked in the head.
  • We're not sure what happens to him. Either he becomes a justice of the court of small claims or is killed by the Horseman. Six of one, half dozen of the other.
