The Little Prince

The Little Prince

by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

The Little Prince Chapter 12 Summary

  • On the next asteroid he visits, the prince meets a guy who drinks too much: the tippler.
  • This drunken man tells the prince that he drinks to forget that he is ashamed about drinking. So, every time he drinks, he’s ashamed, and when he feels shame, he drinks some more… you get the idea.
  • The more adults he meets, the weirder the prince thinks they all are. He keeps traveling.
