Home Mythology Queen Maeve Police Reports Maeve & Ailill vs. the People of Ulster #2: The Pig and the Hound

Case File: Maeve & Ailill vs. the People of Ulster #2: The Pig and the Hound

Police Reports

Case Description: There is a dispute over who should receive the hound of Mac Da Thó. Both Connacht (Maeve & Ailill) and Ulster (Connor mac Ness) want it. Mac Da Thó is pretty convinced that whichever side does not get the hound will kill him and his family.

Case Status: Case closed. The hound was killed during a fight (between the Connachts and Ulsters, of course) over who would carve the roast pig at Mac Da Thó's house party, so obviously, neither side got the dog. Mac Da Thó and his family, though they lost their prized hound, are still happily alive.
