Again, the man everybody loved, before the days when only almost-everybody loved him.

MJ sees himself in the mirror—and likes what he sees.

He never stopped going out in his classic aviator glasses, but here he's also hiding his face behind a surgical mask.

MJ was photographed in 2009 without the surgical mask he'd taken to wearing, and it appears that he was hiding something illness-related that happened to his face.
