Maniac Magee Chapter 25 Summary

  • Turns out that Grayson didn't just want to be a baseball player when he grew up, he actually was one. He made it all the way to the minors, as a pitcher.
  • The story doesn't have a happy ending, which you might have guessed by the fact that Grayson is now the maintenance guy at the city park.
  • When Grayson got his big chance in front of a big time scout, he didn't land a single one of his pitches. He never made it all the way, and hung out in the minors till he was 40.
