Terzibashjian

Character Analysis

A street level informant Armitage hires to help track down Riviera in Istanbul, Terzibashjian does help them, although half of his middle finger is shot off in the process. (That's what happens when you try to nab Riviera.)

Terzibashjian warns Molly that her modifications will cause a stir in Istanbul since women aren't permitted to have them in those parts. It's a small aside and might not seem worth a second glance, but it's actually a very important bit of information. Terzibashjian's comment suggests that no matter how much technology may change the world, it won't alter certain aspects of certain societies. Not to say that change is impossible, just that it will come somewhere other than through computers and machines.
