Case File: Orpheus and Eurydice vs. a Snake

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainants (Orpheus and Eurydice) accuse Defendant (a snake) of first-degree murder. It seems that the dryad Eurydice, wife of Orpheus, was innocently frolicking in a flowery meadow when she was bitten by a snake and died.

Case Status: Case dismissed. What were we going to do exactly? It was a snake. For the full story, check our files on Orpheus, Eurydice, and Orpheus and Eurydice.
