God of the sun. You might be wondering what’s up with all this cattle – basically, Helios was famous not only for controlling the most essential body of matter in our solar system, but also for having some really awesome cattle that no one was allowed to touch, much less kill and eat. This is why Odysseus’s men’s doing just that was a big problem, and by "big" we mean "punishable by death."
