Sometimes spelled Melanthius. The Ithakan goatherd. Unlike many of the other, loyal servants we meet, Melanthios sides with the suitors and insults beggar Odysseus. He’s also the one to arm the suitors during the slaughter, but on the other hand he gets tortured before he dies.
