The Phaiakians

Character Analysis

Sometimes spelled the Phaeacians. The hospitable people of Scheria who house Odysseus, listen to his tale, and help him back to Ithaka, only to be destroyed by Poseidon after the fact. These are the people of King Alkinoös, Queen Arete, and the lovely Nausikaa.
