A Passage to India Part 2, Chapter 32 Summary

  • Fielding passes through Egypt, Crete, and Venice on the way back to England. In these places, he notices a pleasing sense of form in the architecture and the general environment, whereas in India he always felt that form was lost.
  • Fielding arrives in England in June, where "tender romantic fancies" are revived when he sees England's summer flowers.
