Case File: Bellerophon vs. Perseus

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainant (Bellerophon) accuses Defendant (Perseus) of fraud. Bellerophon claims that Perseus falsely spread rumors that he (Perseus) rode Pegasus into battle against the Cetus, a sea monster, when rescuing the Princess Andromeda.

Case Status: Case pending. Earlier sources say that Perseus flew with the aid of the winged sandals of Hermes, while others say that he did indeed fly on the back of Pegasus. So yeah, we're still trying to sort this one out. What can we say? A lot of these Greek myths get pretty tangled. For more info check out our files on Perseus and Andromeda.
