Exactly how steamy is this story?

R

The Shining's sexual scenes are few, but it has a definite sexual undercurrent. Sex comes up frequently, often from the perspective of five-year-old Danny, who doesn't understand much about his parents' sex life. There's also some sexual intrigue of the gruesome kind connected with the 1945 ball put on by Harry Derwent. In their supernatural incarnations, Derwent, Roger the dogman, and the woman from 217 seem like sexual predators. In the case of Roger and the woman from 217, they even seem like child molesters.
