Case description: Berenike, the daughter of an important nobleman from Thebes, died after the priests of Sobek treated her. The nobleman is suing Sobek and Kom Ombo Hospital for malpractice.

Case status: Dismissed. Sobek's lawyer, Djehuty, pointed out to the court that the hieroglyphic disclaimer in the hospital gate explains that Kom Ombo hospital is not responsible for complications.
