Sadness Quotes

How we cite our quotes:

Quote #4

Now no matter, child, the name:
Sorrow's springs are the same. (10-11)

The speaker says that it doesn't matter that she can't put a "name" on her sorrow now. When she's "older," she'll have the same basic sources of sorrow that she had as a child—she'll just be able to label them.
