Franz Gregarovius

Dick’s eventual partner in the clinic, Franz, is one of the people who knows Nicole’s background. He never had Dick’s ambition, but manages to become fairly successful by living a relatively moderate lifestyle and focusing on his work. He presents another example of success – though because some of his success is reaped from his involvement with the Divers, it has a bitter tinge to it.
