Yes, in case you couldn't tell, Jonas is the protagonist. He doesn't do too bad of a job at it, either. He's, you know, likeable and all. And honest, sincere, kind, and self-sacrificing, when you think about that whole Gabriel thing. Needless to say, we're on his side and, unless you've got a heart of stone, chances are you're emotionally invested in this kid by page three or so.
