Character Role Analysis

Lymon

Lymon totally fits the companion role. He's pretty much Boy Willie's sidekick for the entire play. Wherever Boy Willie goes, Lymon is right behind him. That is, until the end of the play, when Lymon runs off after a girl, and Boy Willie heads back to Mississippi.
