Storyteller

Character Role Analysis

Rat Kiley

Rat tells stories the same way that O'Brien does. He has the same version of truth–what matters is what felt true, not what actually happened. He digresses constantly, much to the consternation of his audience, and every now and then he stops telling the story to give us a brief editorial. None of this is malicious; he just thinks it's the best way to tell you all that happened.
