Pug

Character Analysis

Pug is an unpleasant man who makes his living by capturing free people and selling them as slaves in and around the Lone Islands. At one point he captures Caspian, Edmund, Lucy, Eustace, and Reepicheep, but with Lord Bern's help they are eventually all freed. Pug is an all-around creep – one of the few characters in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader who has absolutely no redeeming qualities.
