Waiting for Godot Writing Style

Sesame Street. Sparse.

Did you notice the sort of pacified, AIM-style banter between the characters? Because the thought came to us when we heard Estragon say excitedly, "Let’s contradict each other" and then, "That’s the idea; let’s ask each other questions": it sounds just like Big Bird. But if you need to put some "academic" "jargon-esque" "labels" on the style, we would probably go with "sparse," "minimalistic," or, if you were feeling ready dangerous, "barren."
