Character Role Analysis

Napoleon/War

We get such an up-close-and-personal insight into what makes Napoleon tick and what makes him human that it's hard to really call him a true antagonist. The only way to slot him into that role, really, is to look at him as the face of the war. The war is the true enemy of all that's good and right in the world of the other characters.
