Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West

by Gregory Maguire

Doctor Nikidik

Character Analysis

Dillamond's replacement is truly awful, a heartless, uncaring scientist. The scene where he brings in a defenseless Lion cub for a morally questionable academic experiment is particularly uncomfortable. He also manages to terrorize Fiyero during his first day at Shiz, for which we give him two thumbs down. After this introduction, we're relieved never to have to see this jerk again.
