On the first read-through of the problem, we learn that there's a rectangular box. To help focus our thoughts, draw from the box. You're not going to rely on our box, are you? Go ahead, draw your own box. C'mon, it's a blast!

On the second read-through we can fill in some dimensions now that we've exorcised some of our artistic demons.

We know the volume of a box is length times width times height, so we multiply these dimensions together and find 1,344. Even though we're now done with this problem, we'd appreciate it if you'd hang on to that box for a bit. We're moving next weekend.
