Christmas Dinner Without the Cranberry Sauce

• Billie Jo's school puts on a family Christmas dinner, where Miss Freeland stands in for Ma. They cook a Christmas turkey feast all by themselves, and Billie Jo says it came out better than the Christmas dinner she made for her and Daddy.
• She says their Christmas wouldn't have been as bad if they had Ma's special cranberry sauce recipe, but Ma never showed her how to make it.
