Spotter's Guide

Sometimes, it's hard to tell the difference between Montu and other warrior gods with falcon heads, like Horus the Younger and Horus the Elder. Montu also often looks like Ra, and appears in the same places. But you can usually pick him out by his hat, or if you get him angry enough, he'll change into a bull, thereby dispelling all doubt, and possibly your innards as well.

Age: Adult
Build: Well-built
Complexion: Red-brown (in human form), white with a black face (in bull form)
Hair Color: A black or lapis blue wig, if shown (in either form)
Facial Hair: A long black or lapis blue beard (in human/falcon-head form); white fur in bull form
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: None
Jewelry and Accessories: Montu is usually carrying the war-scepter of authority, and sometimes an ankh sign in the other hand in human form
Clothing: In human form, a short kilt, and a tall hat made of two golden plumes over a red sun disk surrounded by a golden cobra; as a bull he's au natural
Armor: Sometimes, a golden scale mail shirt
Type of Weapon: Big knives, or a mace or a long spear, if he's carrying them. In bull form, Montu uses his hooves and horns to trample the enemy.
