About Me

Intro

You won't meet a friendlier college anywhere. Seriously, I checked. If you take a stroll around campus, you'll meet tons of super down-to-earth and easygoing people. Sure, they are no slouches when it comes to earning A's, but my students love having fun and making connections.

Make friends in your dorm, in class, or by joining a campus organization. I've got over a hundred of them. Whether you're into football or holding a broom between your legs while whooshing around campus, I've got you covered. Enticing extracurricular excursions aside, I also manage to regularly get national shout-outs for my education, business, neuroscience, and music programs. Booyah.

Name

Stinger the Yellow Jacket. I'm fearsome on the field, despite all of the friendly buzz about me.

Hometown

I'm in Berea, just one of the beautiful little suburbs around Cleveland, Ohio.

Birthdate

1845. The same year as Florida.

Body Type

I've got about 3,500 undergrads at any given time. I may be a small school, but that also means smaller class sizes and more personal attention from professors. You don't have to worry about straining to see what the professor wrote from the nosebleeds.

Current Living Situation

Loads of students live on campus. If you're lucky, you might even land one of the newly renovated dorms with air conditioning (specially reserved for the coolest students). You can also rent an apartment or house right by campus.

The second option may be pricier, but at least you won't have to share a bathroom with fifty other people. Then, you won't have to play the game of, "Who clogged the drain with their Chewbacca hair?" every morning.

I've also got tons of commuter students who drive to class from all over the Cleveland area.

Relationship Status

I've got a little rivalry with John Carroll. He's on the east side of Cleveland, but I'm west side for life. The rap battles are epic.

Religion

A group of Methodist settlers founded me back in the day and I've stayed faithful ever since. You'll find a chapel on campus and a kick-butt theology department. I'm also all about the Protestant work ethic, but you won't catch me getting preachy.

Politics

I'm a liberal arts college, but I'm cool with different points of view.

You should apply to me if...

you love school organizations and shrug off the winter chill like a Viking warrior.
