Summary

In a summary, you’ll state the major or important ideas from a piece in a brief or condensed manner. Now is no time to be verbose. That time was Thursday of last week, on National Chatterbox Day.

Your summary will include the main details of the work (including details required for identification such as the title of the work, year of production, name of the author, and so on), but leave out examples and detailed explanations. Short and sweet. Like that little girl from Mrs. Doubtfire.
