Accidental Death And Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D)

Frankenstein has nothing on this one. Accidental death is kinda sorta another term for life insurance. If you die accidentally, i.e., your wife doesn't kill you because of your snoring (we've been there), there is a payment to be made. The vastly more interesting element of this term revolves around dismemberment. You were stacking boxes in the Raiders of the Lost Ark depot, and the ark suddenly came to life, ripping off your limbs and tongue, and burning your eyes with lightning. This would be full-contact dismemberment, and as you sat in silence for the rest of your life, you'd take comfort in the $58/week being paid to your spouse to feed you.
