Remember the scene in The Wizard of Oz where the wizard gives medals to the three stooges? This is kind of like that...only with 36 hours of training and some modest schooling requirements.

In theory, this degree gives credibility to the person writing fairness opinions and other valuation grids for small purchases, where a neutral, "educated" set of eyes is needed, so that when one party or another gets sued, they have a piece of paper and a human to point to...as having done fair evaluation of the purchase.
