Accrued Interest Adjustment

When accrued interest is out of whack, and has to be...adjusted. Like a bad back. Why would it get adjusted? Eih. Lots of reasons. Payments were delayed. Or you bought the bond mid month and it had to figure out what appreciation of the principal you then owed for tax purposes. Or the commissions were coded wrong by the squirrels running in the hamster wheels under the desks...
