The percentage of IPO shares that an investor receives. (See: Allocation Notice). Don't get fooled by the fact that the term has the word "alot" in it. The term has nothing to do with the notion that you get alot of shares in a hot IPO. In reality, most investors who want tons of shares (thinking "free money!") only get a few. Maybe a better term would be "Alittlement."
