American Accounting Association - AAA

Categories: Accounting, Education

The American Accounting Association represents the Mensa Club for accountants. The AAA is an organization dedicated to research and education in the accounting profession. To further this goal, the American Accounting Association publishes The Accounting Review six times a year...a magazine your grandfather only bought for the pictures.

The organization was originally founded in 1916 as a trade group for accounting professors. It took on its current name in 1936. The Triple A name had already been taken by the people who specialize in towing or they would have gone another direction.
