Appurtenance

Categories: Real Estate, Investing

OK, so you're buying a home in the country. That home is located on a piece property with some pretty cool things. It has a stable, a riding arena, and a whole bunch of hooks around the property to safely park your horse between rodeos. (Rodeos are still A Thing, right? PETA?)

Those extra things are a part of what you're buying as a whole (the home and the property that comes with it). So, you'll acquire them integrally with the property...they are an appurtenance to the property. They're not the house itself, but they're a part of the total package...yours for the picking.
