Atmospherics

Basically, a term referring to how awesome the inside of your store looks. Atmospherics refers to the vibe a retail store has, including all the physical characteristics that go into the presentation. This means things like set up, decor and design themes, as well as factors like the music getting played and the uniforms the workers are wearing.
The Apple Store is a great example of a retail space that takes atmospherics very seriously (too seriously? we'll leave it up to you), where every aspect of design and branding - from the clean, open floor design to the fact that employees are called "geniuses" - creates a particular feeling. Or atmosphere, if you will.
