Back Office

If you despise customer relations (or just customers, or in fact, people), you may want a back-office job. Bookkeeping, techie stuff, and all the things that do not involve making money for your company. You're overhead, and a kind of grumbling back room cheerleader as opposed to a quarterback. Always present, but never on the front lines of the game.
