Banks For Cooperatives

Banks for Operatives was the original title of the Jason Bourne series of films. But um... that's not what this is.
An institution which provides loans, as well as deposit and other financial services for the benefit of member-owned organizations (cooperatives).
These banks tend to be privately-held institutions which are government-sponsored and regional or local in focus. Their primary function is to serve rural or farm-based clients, and are regulated by the Farm Credit Administration. Under the Federal Farm Credit System (a national cooperative structure of various associations and banks which provide credit to farmers and agricultural businesses), they typically provide multiple types of loans for agricultural purposes.
