Basecoin

Like its rivals, Bitcoin, Ether, Ripple, Litecoin, etc., Basecoin is a cryptocurrency. Its protocol, however, is designed for price stability; at the launch of the currency, its value was tied to that of the U.S. dollar, though now it has expanded to include different types of assets. Unlike most cryptos, which are notorious for erratic trading spikes and unstable values, the supply of Basecoin tokens can be algorithmically modified to correspond to the exchange rate between it and its respective "peg."
